Greetings from Athens!
I am very excited to see the modern take on GentRacing! I don't know whether it has any connections to the original but I still play the original occasionally when I feel I am ready to take out the extra 10th from that lap time.
Anything that can keep the spirit of the original game with some hires graphics would be amazing!
I just wish this materializes soon because now I am super excited and I cannot wait!
Things that make the classic GentRacing awesome
- Sheer number of available tracks
- AI driver customization, points system etc
- Damage, Tire wear and fuel consumption with pitstops
- Multiplayer of course
- Recorded history of lap times, etc.
Wishlist of enhancements I would like to see
- Tire options (Hard / Medium / soft)
- Basic setup (wing angle, gearing)
- top down and other camera angles
- network multiplayer
Greetings
Re: Greetings
Welcome Greek zouR1!
what means "original" for you? But however you mean: no, there is no connection to another game. GentRacing is completly new developed from scratch.
Thanks to be here and supporting us!
4 of your wishes are still realized:
- top down
- another cameras
- another camera angles, the angle is adjustable by clicking and holding the right mouse button in gaming mode (zoom = mouse wheel)
- network multiplayer is working, but is in remake currently
I´ve recorded a demonstration for you: [media]]
For all other things you are invited to post your wishes in the appropriate forum.
